Roles & Responsibilities

What we expect when you work with Yashodi families.

Your main focus is the child

Your work is childcare and child-related support. You are not hired for general household work such as cleaning the whole home, adult laundry, cooking only for parents, or errands that are not about the child.

Safety comes first

Keep the child in your sight during care hours. Follow the family's rules for doors, balconies, kitchen, and visitors. If something feels unsafe, stop and tell the parents.

Daily care and routine

Help with feeding, naps, hygiene, play, and age-appropriate activities. Stick to the schedule the parents share. Tell them clearly if the child is unwell or behaving differently.

Medicine and health

Give medicine only when parents ask and exactly as written. Do not change doses on your own. If the child has fever or injury, inform the parents right away.

Communication

Be honest and calm with the family. Share a short update when parents return. Do not share photos or private family details on social media without permission.

Professional conduct

Arrive on time, dress neatly, and keep your phone for urgent use during work hours. Respect the home, culture, and privacy of the family.

When you are unsure

Ask the parents before trying something new. If they are not reachable and it is urgent, call Yashodi at +91 88001 18805.
